1. Guarda (.co/m)

Guarda is one of the most intuitive and easy-to-use wallets you can use.

It has support for a wide variety of coins, including the popular Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, Litecoin, Monero and loads more.

With Ethereum, Tron and other coins with tokens, tokens appear automatically in your coin list if you receive them.

The security on it is great. It uses 256-bit encryption for storing private keys, and an extremely long piece of randomly generated text, which is what you use to import your wallet between computers, is used to decrypt the keys along with your password.

You DO have access to your private keys! You may have heard the saying 'not your keys, not your crypto' and in this situation you DO own your keys, so it is your crypto!

They also have a useful staking feature, but this is covered in a different article.

Pros:

-Extremely easy to use

-Lots of coins

Cons:

-If you do not have a backup of your keys and Guarda's servers go down, you cannot withdraw your money.

2. Changenow (.io)

ChangeNOW is a low-fee, non-custodial crypto exchange

ChangeNOW has support for a wide variety of coins, and, as they have partnered with Guarda, have largely the same selection.

They are anonymous, meaning you just send them crypto and they send you a different crypto back (Obviously the one you chose.)

Their exchanging minimums are also fairly low, and seem to be partly based on the dollar value and transaction fee of an asset.

ChangeNOW also have lots of other services, but I will only cover the exchange bit in this article, as that is what it is about.

Pros:

-Non-custodial

-No registration

-Low fees

Cons:

-You pay tx fees
